As Terry McCrann said, the
inflation data would be important and would have to be examined
closely. Henry Thornton gives a few minutes to this task and finds the
0.7% increase may be not quite as good as the market seems to think.
More will be learnt as the entrails come to light. But too much depends
on continuing with a strong currency – no comfort for Australia’s
heroes, the exporters.
