It seems Trish Worth, the former parliamentary secretary to the minister for health, who lost her seat of Adelaide at the last
election, has a new job. We hear this
blogger speculation is on the money and Worth has secured a
“consultancy” role with Client Solutions, a PR firm focused heavily on
the health sector.
This is the very area Worth was government gatekeeper for until last October. Client Solutions
boasts: “We specialise in government relations consulting services to
influence the outcome of government policy and administration.”
With Worth on board opening doors, this might help their cause – but
how long before pressure grows for legislation mandating a seemly
period before government operatives jump on the consultancy gravy train?
