Feds, then the
BCA, now Victoria. Clearly, although the details differ, big
business, Australia’s most progressive state and its Federal government all
think we need another round of reform if we are to move forward as one of the
world’s wealthiest and most progressive nations.
The Victorian plan “mentioned” IR reform, but only to say this is a minor
factor – education and health are seen as the biggies, plus business regulation.
Plus a heavy hint about need for tax reform.
Someone should go through each plan in detail – Henry is prepared to bet
there is a 75% overlap, and this should be got on with.
