The Worm Man speaks out. The worm — and its role in tracking opinion during Sunday night’s debate is one of the election’s hottest topics. John Howard’s against it. Kevin Rudd’s for it — he’s even got a Save the Worm petition running on Kevin07. Crikey this morning went to Wayne the Worm Man to get his view. He told us: “Crikey, banning the worm is crazy. That’s a downright disgrace. The world needs worms. They’re such a wonderful animal. Charles Darwin even said they were the most important animal in the world.” In conclusion: “The worm rules”.
Who’s the bunny? Three Chaser bunnies accosted the PM this morning (vid below). “We know you need to pull a rabbit out of your hat, so here’s a few,” was the schtick. Howard, quick as a flash, responded: “You blokes are a lot funnier when you pick on someone who’s alive.” Is JWH a Dead Man Walking?
Maybe Minister for Ageing Chris Pyne’s mates are just not on this new-fangled Facebook thingy…
