The early entrants in our Federal Election Contest suggest that the voting on Saturday will be a mirror image of what happened in 2004 with Labor getting a two party preferred vote of 52.9% to 47.1% for the Coalition. At that last election it was the Coalition with 52.8% beating Labor with 47.2%.

With close to 200 entries in the sample, the predicted results for the House of Representatives and the Senate are:

Entrants in this quest by Crikey and Glug to find the nation’s best election tipster have to nominate how many seats the Coalition, Labor and other candidates will win in each state in Saturday’s election.
