The PM is back to the pack again with both Malcolm Turnbull and Nicola Roxon not that far away in overall coverage, Turnbull seeming to have got through his worst poll patch and getting more consistent coverage while swine flu kept the Health Minister front and centre.
Overall volumes stayed fairly low as football season and the lack of a collapse in consumer spending keeps politics out of most people’s minds, although Peter Costello once more manages to work his way into the top 20, a feat my local member Alby couldn’t manage despite trying some politics Taiwan style (we’re so proud of him).
And the biggest mover was Lindsay Tanner who had an awful lot of fun with a leaked Liberal research paper calling for a flat tax (or was Lindsay just a little bit envious?) — either way you’ll get a very short price on that one appearing in campaign ads when the election rolls around in a few months time.
Discussion of Malcolm’s relative richness pulls him a bit closer to PMKevin but otherwise not much to report.

Is Rod Laver’s 40 year record as the last Aussie to win in Paris in danger? Either way its brought a lot more interest than usual to the grand slam in red.
