Nine won Melbourne with a big margin (thanks to Two and a Half Men and The Farmer wants a Wife), Brisbane and Adelaide. Seven won Sydney and Perth. Ten was 4th in Sydney. Ten won the 16 to 39 group on another poor night overall. Seven leads the week 28.5% to 27.2%. Glenn Dyer’s comments: Melbourne viewers really like Two and a Half Men, but especially on Mondays. No other market quite has the same appreciation of the subtleties of the program as they do in deprived Melbourne. Then, they do like AFL. But hardly the most inspiring night for TV viewing overall.
Digitally: Nine’s GO averaged 1.70% from 6 pm to midnight, with its main channel on 27.10% (which still gave it victory in All People). ABC 2 was second with 1.60%, with ABC 1 on 15.20%, Ten’s ONE averaged 1.20%, with the main channel on 18.40%, SBS Two averaged 0.30% and SBS One, 7.90%. Seven finished with 26.60% because it doesn’t separate its digital channel yet.
TONIGHT: Packed to the Rafters on Seven at 8.30pm. Foreign Correspondent on the ABC at 8pm; The 7pm Project on Ten. SBS has Insight at 7.30pm.
