Malcolm Turnbull exits the stage claiming he’s too old to be Lazarus (let’s face it, the parliamentary system was never going to be the right model for Turnbull style leadership) as a bunch of social and economic liberals go back to wondering whether they’ll ever have someone to vote for again.

The Minister for Population jumps in to a rare top ten appearance, his new role an interesting juxtaposition with the agriculture portfolio — will we see any revolutionary ideas, perhaps a lower minimum wage outside metropolitan areas or other business incentives to disperse the metropolitan mass?
