The Losers: The Big Bang Theory was used after Survivors by Nine to fill a hole and try and extend its audience. It is starting to be used as Two and a Half Men is being used earlier in the evening to fill holes (though not as frequently as 2008 and 2009). It must be a coincidence that both programs are from the same US producer.

Nine’s Nightline averaged 180,000, Ten’s News, 939,000 and the late News/Sports Tonight, 355,000. SBS News at 6.30pm, 191,000, Insight at 7.30pm, 158,000, the late News, 147,000. 7am Sunrise, 380,000, 7am Today, 350,000.

Glenn Dyer’s comments: Talent on Seven and cooking on Ten accounted for the revheads and the survivors on Nine — and that was the night.
From 7.30pm to around 8pm there were more than five million people watching, Ten, Seven, Nine and the ABC. That is a big combined audience.
TONIGHT: Unfortunately its Hey Hey on Nine tonight at 7.30pm vs. MasterChef on Ten vs. The Pacific on Seven at 8.30pm. The ABC has Spicks and Specks and that’s the night.
