The Losers: Hmm, last night? Why, the BMW car company for the monstering its Tiger tank like X6 got at the hands of Jeremy Clarkson on Top Gear.

Ten News averaged 847,000, the late news/Sports Tonight, 421,000. The 7.30 Report averaged 627,000 (and had a scrappy, useless interview between Kerry O’Brien and Wayne Swan). Foreign Correspondent averaged 562,000 at 8pm with a nice story from India. Lateline averaged 216,000, Lateline Business, 128,000. (All shares on the basis of combined overnight 6pm to midnight All People)
Glenn Dyer’s comments: Last night: MasterChef, solid, Australian Story, solid, Australia’s Got Talent, solid (the ratings), the content, well…
Australian Druglords on Nine at 9.30pm: for a program that was hyped as much as it was, 952,000 viewers (and more people watched in Melbourne than in Sydney, where it was based last night), was barely OK. Ten’s NCIS Los Angeles with 964,000 viewers beat it.
Air France Flight 447 at 10pm on Nine averaged 587,000, but Foreign Correspondent‘s report last year was more timely and asked better questions.
Seven won All People, Ten won the demos. Nine got squeezed, just as Seven did on Monday night.
TONIGHT: MasterChef on Ten, Spicks and Specks on the ABC, The Pacific on Seven at 8.30pm (Seven has a movie at 9.30pm, desperate). And for lovers of the 1970s and 1980’s Hey Hey Its Saturday is on Nine in black and white at 7.30 pm.
