The T.A. target is getting smaller and smaller (First Dog no doubt will have a field day), now down to around a quarter of Kevin Rudd’s coverage. The PM meanwhile focusing on the “working harder” mantra as a bunch of journalists rush to comment that “working smarter” might be a better option.
Lindsay Tanner has been out and about discussing just about everything, including the RSPT, the attempted rebirth of Malcolm Turnbull, how good he reckons Kevin is and how he’s a team player on the CPRS, very thinly disguised code for “crap decision which may cost me my seat, but they ganged up and rolled me”.
Simon Crean makes a fairly rare appearance in the top 20 — a big trade issue on the boil? Kicking goals for the Government? Well, er, sort of on the former, and only of the own goal variety on the latter.
The roar got a little bit duller this week, but are the punters just clearing their throats before another assault?
