The thing I like about the Americans is that they have no shame. This is something that every Doggonaut has to get over – feeling embarrassed when an Australian politician acts like a totally cretinous f*ckwit.
Speaking of Doggonauts – TWO weeks locked out of the FD kennelblog is enough to see all but the case-hardened wander off into the wilderness forever – despite the wonderful Miranda Devine toon reprise today.
I mean, who has an attention span that long these days ?
Just wondering whether Paddy, Zut and Emmjay constitue a sample large enough to breed up the readership again when FD’s back. I can’t believe that EMC, Venise, Buzz or the ‘shoe haven’t worked out that the game could be on over here……. sigh….

We have been robbed of direction, we no longer have a cause (let alone a welcoming Dogonaut Lounge) for two interminable weeks.
Having entreated Leigh Josey at Crikey HQ, I finally received a reply in which she said the decision had been made to give First Dog’s “fan base a rest” while he’s away. So, while he’s cavorting in Bali with his lesbian entourage we are, apparently, resting. Instead I feel restLESS.

are left pulling their hair
on the edge of despair
in withdrawl from the whine of the sycophants.
