Foxtel are launching yet another new Lifestyle Channel. The new channel, set to replace the woefully named How To Channel, will launch on March 1, 2011.
I do find it interesting that of all the shows to get a run on lifestyle channels like this, none of them provide the informative content that really is needed in a lot of homes these days. I’d assume that the key demographic for this is baby boomers, with a female skew. Surely a show that looks at Technology for that demo would go over gangbusters. Something informative, with simple language, and a mind towards those who did not grow up surrounded by computers would be highly valued by Lifestyle Home viewers. This sort of information is NEEDED by a lot of Boomers.
Does every lifestyle show need to be about property valuations, home improvements, and cooking?
