Nine had its audience peak at 6pm, and then it was downhill, like Ten on Monday night. Ten at least had a program in NCIS at 8.30pm that many viewers wanted to see. Seven won everything, again with programs viewers want to watch. Simple!

  • FTA: Seven (3 channels) won with a share of 34.2%, from, Nine (3) on 24.0%, Ten (3) on 22.9%, the ABC (4) was on 14.0% and SBS (2) ended with 4.9%. Seven leads the week with 32.3% from Nine on 25.7% and Ten on 20.7%
  • Main Channel: Seven won easily with 27.4%, from Ten on 18.3%, Nine third with 17.0%, ABC1 on 10.7% and SBS ONE with 3.9%. Seven leads the week with 24.7% from Nine on 18.4% and Ten on 16.0%
  • Digital: GO won with 4.6% from 7Mate on 3.7%, Eleven on 3.5%, 7TWO on 3.1%, Gem on 2.4%, ABC2, 1.9%, ONE on 1.2%, SBS TWO on 0.9%, ABC3 on 0.8% and ABC News 24 on 0.6%. The 10 channels had an FTA prime time total share of 22.7% last night. GO leads the week with 4.6% from 7TWO on 4.1% and Eleven and 7Mate on 3.5%. Survivor with 305,000 helped GO. Neighbours with 334,000 on Eleven was the most watched digital program.
  • Pay TV: Seven (3 channels) won with a share of 28.4% from Nine (3) on 20.0%, with Ten (3) on 19.1%, Pay TV (100 plus channels) was on 13.8%, the ABC (4 channels) finished with 11.7% and SBS (2) was on 4.1%. The 15 FTA channels had an 86.2% share of prime time viewing last night. That was made up of 19.1% for the digital channels and 67.1% for the five main channels.
  • Regional: Prime/7Qld (3 channels) won with a share of 34.8%, from WIN/NBN (3) with 26.2%, with SC Ten on 20.3 (3 channels), the ABC (4) was on 13.7% and SBS (2) ended with 5.1%. Prime/7Qld won the main channels with 16.7% from WIN/NBN on 19.3%. 7TWO won the digitals with 5.1%, from GO on 4.5% and Eleven with 3.4%. The 10 digital channels had a total FTA prime time viewing share of 23.5%. Prime/7Qld with 32.7% leads the week with WIN/NBN on 27.9%.
  • Major Markets: Nine’s poor night is exposed when the individual markets are looked at. Seven won overall from Nine and Ten in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. In Sydney and Brisbane Ten was second in the main channels, in Melbourne Nine finished second in front of Ten. In Adelaide and Perth it was Seven, Ten and then Nine both overall and in the main channels. GO won Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth. 7TWO and Eleven shared Adelaide. Seven leads the week from Nine and Ten in every market.
