Glenn Dyer’s comments: Seven’s night, easily. Nine seeming has tossed the trowel in this week, its big lead from Sunday night has all but gone (except in Sydney) and contrary to my suggestion on Monday, the week will be much closer than it once seemed. That’s because Nine has failed to consolidate on succeeding nights, except for a brief flare on Monday night with the return of The Farmer Wants a Wife. It sank last night, as did everything else on the network. But it was a weak night of viewing.

The national most watched figures nationally showed no program anywhere near 2 million viewers.

  • Seven News was the most watched program nationally: 1.885 million, 536,000 in the regions and 1.349 million in the metro markets.
  • World’s Strictest Parents on Seven, 1.653 million nationally with 433,000 in regional areas and 1.120 million in the five metro markets.
  • Home and Away had a national audience of 1.576 million with 469,000 regional viewers and 1.097 million in the metro markets.
  • Nine News had a national audience of 1.566 million with 456,000 in the regions and 1.110 million in the metro markets.
  • The Farmer Wants a Wife had a national audience of 1.491 million with 526,000 in the regions and 965,000 in the metro markets.
