The Winners: Nine’s night, easily, thanks again to 60 Minutes and Underbelly: Razor, for the second Sunday in a row.

Underbelly: Razor has come and gone and on the whole it was solid, better than last year’s effort. Next week though Nine screens CSI at 8.30pm. Nine could lose around half a million viewers as a result.

  1. Underbelly: Razor (Nine, 8.30pm) — 1.449 million
  2. 60 Minutes (Nine) (7.30pm) — 1.414 million
  3. Frozen Planet (Nine) (6.30pm) — 1.282 million
  4. Sunday Night (Seven) (6.30pm) — 1.207 million
  5. Seven News (6pm) — 1.207 million
  6. Nine News (6pm) — 1.132 million

The Losers: Terra Nova on Ten at 8.30pm, 699,000. A chance to improve now that Underbelly: Razor has gone? Beaten by a repeat of Bones on Seven with 746,000.

Ten’s Junior MasterChef, 820,000, was in Venice Beach in Los Angeles last night. Talk about contrived. No wonder the program has lost its “oomph”. The producers have gotten lazy (and so has Ten) and the junior version is nothing but a poor clone of the adult original, instead of trying to carve out a separate identity.

News & CA: Nine News won Sydney (by 119,000 viewers) and Melbourne (by 28,000). Seven won the rest.

The relaunch of Weekend Sunrise Saturday/Sunday was botched by technical problems on Saturday, making yesterday’s edition a bit of a mishmash. Watch next week to see what the changes look like.

The Bolt Report at 10am had one of its lowest audiences yesterday morning, while the repeat at 4.30pm had one of the highest. Go figure.
