The Glenn Dyer breakdown: Viewers only wanted one program last night: My Kitchen Rules. More than half a million extra viewers watched it than any other program on TV last night.
Kitchen Cabinet on ABC 2 at 9.30pm, 192,000. It’s better TV than Woodley, so why not at 8pm on ABC 1? Or 9.30pm?
Fox in the US has cancelled Terra Nova, the poorly performed sci-fi series that screened on Ten on Sunday nights late last year, after just one series. It was high cost, delayed and poorly received by audiences in the US.
Tonight: Will the third and final ODI cricket final tonight on Nine. The real test will be the ODI against Grey’s Anatomy on Ten. If a weak Grey’s Anatomy beats the ODI in the 8.30pm to 9.30pm hour, then we know that cricket is on the nose. The ODI has to win well tonight.
The ABC has The Straits and Family Confidential: the latter is good TV, the former is rot.
Ten has The Biggest Loser and a fresh Law and Order SVU.
