The Glenn Dyer breakdown: It was Seven’s night and it will be Seven’s week, even before the final of My Kitchen Rules tonight.

It was Ten’s turn to be squeezed. This time by the strong news and current affairs line up on ABC 1. As a result the ABC and ABC 1 ran third and Ten fourth.

Tonight: The grand final of My Kitchen Rules for two hours then a one off preview of a new series called Pictures of You from 9.30pm.

The ABC rests Foreign Correspondent. In its place there’s a new and interesting program called Country Town Rescue which will be worth watching. The ABC then goes British at 8.30pm by resorting to a repeat of Miss Marple.

Ten has NCIS and The Biggest Loser.

Nine has not very much at all. Flops in two episodes of Two Broke Girls, Two and A Half Men and Top Gear. A parade of yesterday’s programs. SBS has Insight and Dateline from 8.30pm, which will be far more up to date.

Metro FTA: Seven (3 channels) won with a share of 36.7% from Nine (3) on 23.0%, the ABC (4) was third with 19.0%, Ten (3) was 4th on 17.5% and SBS (2) ended on 3.8%. Seven leads the week with 34.09% from Nine on 23.0% and Ten on 22.9%. Main Channels: Seven won with a share of 30.6% from Nine on 17.3%, ABC 1 on 14.1%, Ten on 12.9% and SBS ONE on 3.1%. Seven leads the week with 27.8% from Nine on 17.1% and Ten on 15.6%.

Metro Digital: 7TWO won with a share of 3.8% from ABC 2 on 3.2%, GO on 2.9%, Eleven and Gem on 2.8% each, 7mate on 2.3%, ONE on 1.8%, News 24 on 1.1%, SBS TWO on 0.7% and ABC 2 on 0.6%. The 10 digital channels had an FTA share last night of 22.0. 7TWO leads the week on 3.4% from GO on 3.3% and 7mate on 2.7%.

Pay TV: Seven (3 channels) won with a share of 30.4% from Nine (3) on 19.0%, the ABC (4) was third with 15.7%, Pay TV (200 plus channels) was on 15.0%, Ten (3) was 4th on 14.5% and SBS (2) ended on 3.1%. The 15v FTA channels had a viewing share last night of 85.0%, the 10 digital channels total share was 18.3%, the five main channels, 66.7%.

Prime/7Qld won the main channels with 27.4% from WIN/NBN on 19.2% and SC Ten on 13.2%. 7TWO won the digitals with 4.8% from GO on 3.4% and Eleven on 3.4% as well. the 10 digital channels had a total FTA share last night of 24.9%. Prime/7Qld leads the week on 33.1% from WIN/NBN on 26.1%.

Major Metro Markets: Seven won overall and the main channels in all five metro markets. The ABC and ABC 1 were third in Sydney, Melbourne and Perth. In Adelaide, ABC 1 was second in the main channels. Ten was third overall and in the main channels in Brisbane. The ABC was third overall in Adelaide. In the digitals, Gem won Sydney, 7TWO won the other four metro markets. For the week, Seven leads, with Ten second in Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth. Nine is third in those markets and second in Sydney.
