The Glenn Dyer breakdown: Seven won, Once Upon a Time debuted with OK figures, as did Ten’s new series Bikie Wars: Brothers in Arms, which had strong viewing across the demos, especially 16 to 39 and 18 to 49. It also topped 25 to 54’s. But that wasn’t enough to propel Ten past Nine into second place. Ten’s 9.30pm show was a repeat of NCIS which sank to 558,000 viewers. Bikie Wars: Brothers in Arms at 8.30pm on Ten averaged 1.261 million viewers in the five metro markets and beat Seven’s stalwart, Packed to the Rafters with 1.210 million. That wouldn’t have happened a year ago. Seven has renewed Packed to the Rafters for 2013, its sixth year, and it could be its last if it doesn’t improve.

Once Upon a Time topped the night on debut with 1.350 million and 1.982 million nationally and was the most watched program across the country. Bikie Wars: Brothers in Arms averaged a very solid 1.828 million viewers nationally and was the third most viewed program.

Tonight: Randling on ABC 1, followed by Laid. Australia’s Got Talent on Seven followed by the final Bones of the season. Nine has The Block and then the unfortunate The Celebrity Apprentice. Ten has MasterChef, Offspring and then The Good Wife. So all up a good night of TV, with plenty of choice.
