The Glenn Dyer breakdown: An easy win for Seven with the final episodes of Downton Abbey doing the job. At least Nine tried last night. Ten fell short of both, despite another solid performance from MasterChef. In fact, everyone was a winner, according to the way they saw the figures. Viewers thought so and four programs had national audiences of just over 2 million viewers each.

Tonight: The hours of news and current affairs on ABC 1 from 7pm. The final Revenge on Seven. Nine continues to run dead.). Ten has MasterChef as it moves towards the big day. No more Tour de France.

Last Week: Seven won Friday night thanks to the Geelong v Essendon AFL game in southern markets. Seven also won Saturday night among the FTA channels, but Pay TV’s 200 channels had more viewers thanks to the NRL games in prime time.

Overall: Seven had an easy win and a clean sweep as Nine ran dead for most of the week ahead of the games. Nine’s GO won the metro digitals. Prime/7Qld won the regionals from WIN/NBN. 7TWO won the regional digitals.
