Poh’s Kitchen Lends a Hand at 8pm on ABC 1 had 499,000 metro and 713,000 national viewers. A good program that deserved more viewers.

Another turkey. Ten’s I Will Survive at 7.30pm with 336,000 metro and 473,000 national viewers also joins the rafter.
Metro News & CA: Seven News won Adelaide, Perth and won Sydney by 37,000 (a big win given how well Nine News has been doing this year) yet lost Melbourne and Brisbane. Today Tonight won Sydney (by 48,000), Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth. A Current Affair won Melbourne by 74,000, a solid margin.

Metro FTA: Seven (3 channels) won easily with 35.2%, from Nine (3) on 23.0%, the ABC (4) was on 18.2%, Ten (3) was on 17.7% and SBS (2) ended on 5.9%. Seven leads the week with 32.5% from Nine on 26.4%, the ABC on 19.8% and Ten on 16.4%. Main Channels: Seven won with 27.3% from Nine on 16.9%, ABC 1 on 12.8%, Ten on 11.9% and SBS ONE, 4.9%. Seven leads the week with 24.4% from Nine on 20.2%, ABC 1 on 14.9% and Ten with 10.9%.
Metro Digital: 7TWO and 7mate tied for the night with 3.9%, from Gem with 3.7%, ABC 2 was on 3.6%, Eleven, 3.1%, ONE, 2.7%, GO, 2.4%, SBS TWO and ABC 3 on 1.9% each and News 24 on 0.8%. The 10 digital channels had an FTA viewing share last night of 25.9%. 7TWO leads the week on 4.1% from 7mate on 4.0% and GO and ABC 2 on 3.3% each.
Metro including Pay TV: Seven (3 channels) won with 28.8%, from Nine (3) on 18.8%, the ABC (4) was on 14.9%, Ten (3) was on 14.5% and SBS (2) ended on 4.8%. The 15 FTA channels had a viewing share last night of 84.2%, with the 10 digitals on a total of 21.3% and the five main channels on 62.9%. The 200 plus channels of Foxtel gave Pay TV a share of 15.8% last night.

Regional: Prime/ 7 Qld (3 channels) won with a share of 37.9%, from WIN/NBN (3) on 22.0%. The ABC was 3rd (4) with 17.5%, SC Ten (3) was next on 16.7%. and SBS (2) ended on 5.8%. Prime/7Qld won the main channels with 27.1%, from WIN/NBN on 15.4%, SC Ten on 11.1% and ABC 1 on 10.8%.. The digitals were won by 7TWO with 5.5%, 7mate on 5.3 and ABC 2 on 4.3% The 10 digital channels had an very high FTA viewing share of 31.3%. Prime/7Qld leads the week with 35.2% from WIN/NBN on 26.5%, the ABC on 19.1% and SC Ten on 14.5%.

Major Metro Markets: Seven won overall and the main channels in all five metro markets. Nine was second everywhere bar Adelaide where ABC 1 was second in the main channels and Ten third (Nine was fourth). In Perth it was Ten second overall and third in the main channels and the ABC third overall and ABC 1 second in the main channels. Ten was third in the main channels in Sydney as well and ABC 1 was fourth. So a slightly better night for Ten. 7TWO won the digitals in Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth and shared Melbourne with 7mate. ABC 2 won Sydney. Seven leads the week everywhere, with Nine second and the ABC 3rd.
