Thanks to Dancing With The Stars, the grizzled veteran, Seven won the night clearly in metro and regional markets in Total People. Nine though says it won the major demos, while Ten had a better night with programs viewers wanted to watch, even if they were repeats in some cases. Dancing With The Stars was the third most watched program nationally (after Nine News and Home and Away)  with 1.339 million national/ 886,000 metro/ 453,000 regional viewers (which made it number two  in the regions). Nine News was the most watched program in metro and third most watched in the regionals after Home and Away which had 511,000 viewers outside the metro markets.

In the morning, Seven’s Sunrise had another big win over Nine’s struggling Today  — 400,000 metro viewers to 281,000.
