Seven’s night in metro and regional markets, thanks to the AFL game from Adelaide won by Hawthorn over the Crows, Cats in Sydney and Brisbane and weak programming on Nine. There was nothing to support Masterchef Australia on Ten which was the most watched program in metro markets, along with Nine News.
Masterchef Australia though did very well in the demos for Ten, helping the network maintain its audience share improvement this year. Masterchef Australia had 1.395 million national viewers and lifted its weak regional audience to a nice 384,000 last night.
The Adelaide-Hawthorn AFL game has 837,000 national viewers on Seven and 7mate last night, and a further 229,000 on Fox Footy, for a total national audience of around 1.037 million viewers.
The Priscilla special, Between A Frock and A Hard Place had 763,000 viewers on ABC across the country last night, and the Q&A special straight after had 545,000.
