So, it was Nine’s night in the metros given it won the main channels and shared the night overall with Seven — oh, no it wasn’t. It was Ten’s night really because Masterchef Australia lifted it to a win in the metro main channels. In regionals, Seven won easily from Nine, then Ten. Masterchef Australia hit a 2015 high last night of 1.779 million national viewers (including 416,000 in the regions), as Ten would have been wanting to see. But with nothing else to challenge it, not hitting a year high would have been a bit of a fail.
