Seven West Media’s nemesis Amber Harrison has continued her public release of documents on Twitter this morning, again targeting independent director and prominent media commentator Jeff Kennett.
This one particularly caught our eye:
Isn’t that effectively sexting on a company letter head?
Harrison had only done 28 tweets between Sunday and this morning but already she has 1500 Twitter followers — more than double the 608 followers of the @sevenwestmedia handle, which has pumped out 282 tweets since joining in January 2015.
Jeff Kennett gave a reasonable account of himself and the board with Ross Greenwood on 2GB last night, but with this constant flow of embarrassing documents, it would seem something has to give. At the very least, Tim Worner will need to man up and face unscripted questions from journalists at some point. How he justifies sending letters like the above is hard to contemplate. — Stephen Mayne
Worner was imprudent to commit this froth to print whereas Harrison was judicious to keep it as a record. She exhibits the qualities usually required of a CEO.
She does have the smarts to retain this type of damaging material.
May be the rich powerful men @ 7 need to start taking notice of the fact that hiding their messes though “independent” evaluations by law firms that they already have a huge amount of influence and stake in mates at is not only worst way of dealing with your dirty laundry, it’s not independent to start off with it, and screams conflict of interest.
But again the the age old mates club rears its ugly head, so as to make sure all their powerful mates are protected. Little will these smug middle aged entitled men, realise their power suits and connections aren’t going to save them, the way the world communicates has changed, and there are very few places to run or to hide.
Surely the fact that they are in the media game, it would’ve made sense to get rid of Worner when this all surfaced he’s a true liability, and kept Harrison.
That letter would be gold in a divorce case – not much different in this case.
Good luck, Amber – go gettum!
