Here’s hoping that moves towards quiet times in supermarkets spread much further and wider. There are many people like me who dislike the imposition of awful pop music into more and more public space along with hectoring announcements and garish lighting and signage. It definitely means I spend as little time as possible in most commercial areas. Is it possible business is finally waking up to this?
