On government environment spending
Meredith Williams writes: Re. “Crikey Worm: government slashes environment spending“
While the worth and efficiency of photovoltaics and wind-generated power for domestic and commercial use has been proven beyond doubt, we now hear that government funding for environmental projects will soon fall to just 60% of 2013-14 levels. This is asinine! Even dogs know not to foul their own bedding, but we continue to foul the natural environment that feeds, houses, nourishes and sustains us, and wilfully dismiss suggestions of responsibility to do otherwise. Wake up Australia!
