I was fascinated by the suggestion last week that Julia Gillard may be related to Zippy the Conehead. Does this link mean the Acting PM is also be related to another member of the Zippy family, Rainbow Zippy, from the popular 1970’s British children’s program?

Playing with my four year old over the weekend I noticed a remarkable similarity between a Lego man and our PM. Could they possibly be related? Is Kevin Rudd plastic, as in the “capable of being shaped or formed” meaning of plastic? His campaign performance certainly suggests so.
