The Losers: Nothing really on a night when most programs performed reasonably well.
News & CA: Nine’s Mark Latham circus rolled on last night and helped Nine to win Sydney and Melbourne. There was the astonishing sight of a report on Nine News attacking 60 Minutes‘ talent Mark Latham. In all my 24 -25 years in and watching the TV Industry, I can’t remember a situation where a leading figure on one network (Nine’s Laurie Oakes) has been attacked by the temporary talent (Latham) from the same network on another channel (Sky) which is partly owned by Nine. And then the situation reversed the next night. Will any of this feature in the 60 Minutes report on Sunday night on Nine?

Glenn Dyer’s comments: Painful is the only description for Tony Abbott’s performance with Kerry O’Brien on The 7.30 Report last night.
Seven’s Parenthood did OK at 9.30pm and extended the winning position that Packed to the Rafters had with its second 2 million plus audience in a row.
TONIGHT: The ABC is the standout: Spicks and Specks, Gruen Nation and Yes We Canberra. Nine has The Farmer wants a Wife. Seven has a new Lewis at 9.30pm. Ten has fresh Simpsons and Lie to Me.
