Glenn Dyer’s comments: Another good night for Seven, although MasterChef was also solid for Ten.

Angry Boys was better last night: the audience was all but unchanged from the debut a week ago. No wonder its being strongly supported by male viewers in all demos. It’s why the program finished top in 16 to 39 and 18 to 49 and second in 25 to 54 after MasterChef. (Male viewers were big viewers of MasterChef on Tuesday night. Last night female viewers had MasterChef in the top possie in the 16 to 39, 18 to 49 demos and 25 to 54 demos). Amongst people over 55, Seven News was tops and Angry Boys was 21st. MasterChef was 17th. I feel out of my demo.

Where was Nine in all of this? Dreaming of the first Rugby League State of Origin game next Wednesday night. Talk about a bunch of angry boys!

With 657,000 viewers in regional areas, Australia’s Got Talent had a national audience of 2.17 million. MasterChef had 483,000 viewers in regional areas and had a national audience of 1.88 million. Angry Boys didn’t show up in the top 10 for All People. It had 150,000 viewers in 16 to 39s.

TONIGHT: MasterChef on Ten, and The Good Wife. The 7pm Project is also on. Nine has Between the Lines and the AFL and NRL Footy Shows.

The ABC has a repeat of the doco I, Spry: The Rise and Fall of A Master Spy. Will it get Gerard Henderson emoting again? And SBS has a fleet of cooking repeats from 7.30pm.

Seven has its own fleet of female skewing programs from 7pm onwards. The ABC also has a doco at 9.30pm called Outback Kids.
