Glenn Dyer’s comments: Another win for Seven, though Ten did well again with the combination of MasterChef and Glee. They ensured wins in 18 to 49 and 25 to 54.

MasterChef averaged 581,000 in regional areas and with the 1.602 million who watched in the metro markets, had a national audience of 2.18 million.

Nine have moved Customs from 7.30pm to 8pm on Tuesdays and is resting AFP (it was on at 8pm) until its second series next year. Repeats of The Big Bang Theory (2011’s Two and a Half Men) fills the 7.30pm slot. The Big Bang Theory is also on Go! at the same time. Will viewers get confused?

TONIGHT: And it’s with a stony heart we say goodbye from 8.30pm to Between The Lines on Nine. The last episode. Will it acknowledge the NRL as a last gift to its non-AFL viewers? Another Nine Network/Eddie McGuire success story aborted because it bored the audience into going elsewhere. Nine also has the AFL and NRL Footy Shows.

Ten has MasterChef, a beacon of entertainment values tonight. Seven has its wall of female attracting programs from 7pm to 11.30pm. SBS has the second episode of Lyndey & Blair’s Taste of Greece. The ABC has an interesting doco on juries at 8.30pm called On Trial.
