The Winners: A close night, Seven won All People and the main demos. Nine can claim a solid performance from the night. For Ten, another disaster. The ABC had another solid Monday night of news and current affairs.

The Losers: Disappointment all round at Ten. Junior MasterChef, 770,000 at 7.30pm, a sharp loss from the first three episodes. Undercover Boss at 8.30pm, 578,000. Sad. The repeat of Law and Order: S.V.U at 9.30pm, 353,000, Good News World at 10.30pm, 187,000.

News & CA: It was the second day of daylight saving and a holiday in NSW and South Australia, so audiences for the morning programs were down on normal, while the evening news programs also had low audiences (all that extra daylight affecting the cows and the curtains in Sydney and Melbourne in particular).

But the Seven News (269,000 viewers) had another big loss in Sydney to Nine News (353,000). That 84,000 margin in favour of Nine News was much bigger than the 20,000 margin Nine’s Hot Seat had in Sydney over Seven’s Deal or No Deal.
