Glenn Dyer’s comments: It’s a poor night when the visit of a politician proves to be the night’s highlights and so it was with President Obama, with Nine and Seven, plus News 24 and Sky News giving us extensive coverage. Even Ten had coverage of the press conference just after 6pm.
We said goodbye to Gruen Planet last night.
It was again interesting that Nine’s The Celebrity Apprentice is not anywhere near as popular in Adelaide as on the east coast, or as popular in regional markets.
The five top national programs last night were:
- Gruen Planet — 1.580 million

Tonight: Apart from The Slap on ABC 1, not much is on. Beauty and The Geek Australia on Seven. Ten has the final episode of Rush for the year. My Sri Lanka with Peter Kuruvita on SBS. Nine has a repeat of The Mentalist at 9.30.
