Glenn Dyer’s comments: A winner almost everywhere you looked last night.

We said a fond goodbye to Spicks & Specks.

Junior MasterChef faded from view and hopefully won’t return next year. The way the audience abandoned the winner announcement last night tells me viewers are over it.

Junior MasterChef had an average 934,000 viewers, when the winner was announced it had just 911,000. When the audience couldn’t be bothered to stay around and watch the winner being named, it is clear viewers were right off this one. It also did poorly in regional areas as well.

Tonight: The final episode of The Slap on the ABC at 8.30pm. If you are interested, the final of Beauty and The Geek Australia on Seven from 7.30pm. Ten has another episode of the weakening Keeping Up With The Joneses. Nine has Unforgettable and a repeat of The Mentalist. SBS starts an observational factual reality show called The Family at 8.30pm.
