Glenn Dyer’s comments: A weak night for all, especially with The Big Bang Theory repeats dominating. Says it all.

For some reason Ten has returned Ten News at 5pm to an hour and recoded the half hour of news from 6pm. It did nothing except show us that the audience hasn’t improved since the days of Ten’s Evening News at 6.30pm and the late 6pm with George Negus.

The five top programs nationally were:

  1. The Big Bang Theory (8pm) — 1.838 million
  2. The Big Bang Theory (7.30pm) — 1.698 million
  3. Seven News — 1.691 million
  4. Nine News — 1.485 million
  5. Today Tonight — 1.366 million

Tonight: Not very much of interest. The ABC has another new The Grumpy Guide to…, and Seven has a movie about a grumpy father-in-law (Meet The Parents) and Nine has failed series The Middle and Mike & Molly, along with an hour of The Big Bang Theory repeats. Ten has the failed Rules of Engagement and repeats of NCIS Los Angeles, Offspring and Modern Family.
