The Winners: With Bernard Tomic playing for hours from 7pm (and winning well), it was always going to be Seven’s night.

Glenn Dyer’s comments: Tennis, thanks to Bernard Tomic on Seven, won the night — no one else got a look in.
Strange programming move on Pay TV. Fox 8 ran Cricket Superstar from just after 7.30pm last night to around 8.40pm. So what? Well over 238,000 people, all of whom would have been potential viewers of Cricket Superstar (71,900 viewers), were watching the Twenty20 Big Bash game over on Fox Sports 3 at the same time (the game started at 7pm and ended around 10.14pm). You would have thought Foxtel would have programmed to avoid such a clash.
And Seven News won Brisbane on Tuesday evening, not Nine has I reported yesterday.
Tonight: Lleyton Hewitt plays in the tennis on Seven tonight. Repeats on Nine and Ten. The Drum on ABC 1 at 6pm.
