The Crikey Champion psephologist contest conducted on the Queensland election showed the considerable political intelligence of our readers. Asked the number of seats the Beattie Labor Government would win, the entrants came up with a median prediction of 58 – only one seat off the final result of 59.

That put the Crikey contest right up there with the very best of the opinion polls as a forecaster. But can we do it again with our Victorian State election contest?

The rules are simple. We need you to put a figure showing the percentage chance of a Labor victory in every one of the 88 Legislative Assembly seats. Click here for the contest rules and the entry form.

The winner will receive a dozen of our especially bottled Crikey Bragging Rights Red from the Barossa-based www.glug.com.au.
