Samsung’s clever new ad poking fun at Apple fans for being stupid and hunting in a herd has reignited smartphone rivalries (you can check out this week’s ad, for Samsung’s Galaxy S III, here). Crikey has something to add: “you’ve got the whole world in your hand”. This 1988 ad for Radio Shack’s mobile phone provides a worthwhile alternative to these new-age skinny smartphones. And a steal at a shade over $US5000 in today’s money. Seriously though, I think my dad still uses one of these.
