What is AustChina? Who does it represent? In whose interests does it act? What relationships does it have, with whom and where?

It’s all very well declaring a name as the source of various benefits, but what does it mean when that name is a slightly suspicious enigma? An entity that for all the world looks like a front … albeit one with the wherewithal to squire politicians of various persuasions on various circumnavigations of the globe? Where’s the accountability in that?

Here’s one piece of the jigsaw: this is the registered Australian headquarters of Beijing AustChina. A perfectly normal house, in a perfectly ordinary street. We feel better already.
