Week over and won by Nine. Last night in metro markets was another night Seven would like to forget. Yes, there was a small improvement in House Rules, but that was barely enough to bother the excitement meter. In the morning Today (316,000) beat Sunrise (293,000) in the metros, but was well beaten nationally. In the evening the News took another hiding and The Voice  (2.227 million nationally) blitzed everything in its sights.  Nine won the night easily, in the metros Nine won Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane, sort of shared Adelaide with Seven, who won Perth, despite The Voice (1.598 million) being the most watched program in all five metro markets. There was another result completely as Seven won clearly from Nine. The Voice was second (630,000) behind House Rules (667,000). Home and Away was third in the regionals with 560,000, a bigger audience (proportionately) than the 791,000 in the metros. That strong regional audience lifted House Rules from an indifferent 1.002 million metro viewers to second place nationally with 1.669 million.
