Nine’s night easily in the metros and major demos, but much closer in the regions. End of story. The Block dominated the night with 1.659 million national viewers, including 1.209 million in the metros. Number one in both, but third in the regions behind Seven News and Sunday Night. Apart from Nine News, Seven News, Sunday Night and 60 Minutes, nothing else much rated last night.
In the morning around a million people watched the Rugby World Cup on Gem (706,000) and Fox Sports (292,000). Of course that lot across the Tasman won the final. In the later morning chats, Insiders more than held its position as the most watched program with more than 360,000 metro viewers and 556,00 nationally. The Bolt Report on Ten managed 148,000 metro and 217,000 nationally.
