A boring Tuesday night in late ratings with Nine, Seven and Ten slowly winding up their final ’tent poles’ of the year in the shape of The Block (1.217 million nationally last night), The X Factor (1.392 million) and TBL Families (1.153 million). And that was the night. The final session of the second cricket test against NZ from Perth died a natural death after the bat-a-thons, but still averaged a solid 1.141 million people, despite a rain delay and an early finish. World War 2 ended on Foyle’s War, now for the spooks.
Nine won the metros and the main demos, Seven won the regionals, thanks to The X Factor’s 472,000 viewers, and 497,000 for Home and Away.
