Seven’s night again, as My Kitchen Rules and Wanted dominated viewing. MKR had 1.496 million metro viewers; Wanted had 962,000, up from 899,000 a week ago; Here Come The Habibs had 800,000 viewers in metro markets last night, down from 896,000 a week ago; while Ten’s I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here had 688,000 down from 753,000 last week. For the second time this week regional data has been delayed and isn’t yet available, hence no national figures, regional or Pay TV figures this time.
Seven’s 6pm news won nationally thanks to the big margins in Adelaide and Perth and the loss of Sydney by just 1,000 viewers. The Chase Australia at 5.30 beat Nine’s Hot Seat 652,000 metro viewers to 535,000, which has as much, if not more to do with Seven’s improved performance at 6pm than any claim by news management, although the Sydney 6pm news has improved in the past few months.
Today won breakfast yesterday: 331, 000 to 319,0000, so it’s one-all as Sunrise’s team moves around Australia.
