The Winners: Packed to the Rafters was tops with 1.804 million; NCIS on Ten at 8.30pm, was second with 1.309 million; RSPCA Animal Rescue was next with 1.285 million for Seven at 7.30pm and Seven News was 4th with 1.262 million. Today Tonight was 5th with 1.217 million and Last Chance Surgery was next with 1.184 million at 8pm for Seven. The 7pm repeat of Two and a Half Men averaged 1.137 million for Nine, while the 7.30pm episode of 20 to 1 averaged 1.109 million. Ten’s Lie To Me won the 9.30pm slot with 1.068 million and 9th. 10th was Nine News with 1.042 million and Home and Away continues to sag, ending up 11th with 1.022 million. A Current Affair averaged 991,000.

The Losers: Aussie Ladette To Lady: two episodes, 9.30pm, 676,000, 10.30pm, 611,000. Good riddance. Nine obviously didn’t want to show the second episode next Tuesday night. The Very Best of the Paul Hogan Show, Part 2; no better than part 1, 769,000 at 8.30pm for Nine. Private Practice on Seven at 9.30pm, 877,000. Sinking slowly in the numbers, as it did last time out.

News & CA: Seven News won everywhere, TT won everywhere bar Melbourne where ACA was stronger, but ACA was weaker elsewhere. The 7pm ABC News averaged 920,000; The 7.30 Report, 704,000, Lateline, 203,000, Lateline Business, 119,000. Ten News, 673,000, the late News/Sports Tonight, 464,000. SBS News at 6.30pm, 137,000, 153,000 for the 9.30pm edition. 7am Sunrise, 357,000, 7am Today, 337,000.

The Stats: Seven won 6pm to Midnight All People with a combined share of 31.8% (33.6% a week ago), from Nine with 26.6% (25.6%), Ten with 24.4% (23.0%); the ABC with 13.8% (13.7%), SBS with 3.4% (4.2%). Seven won all five metro markets and leads the week 31.9% (27.7%).

Regionally, Prime/7Qld with 31.0%, from WIN/NBN with 28.1%, Southern Cross (Ten) with 22.2%, the ABC with 13.7% and SBS, 5.0%.

Digitally: Nine’s GO won 2.30% (Nine’s main channel was on 24.3%), from 7TWO with 1.40% (Seven’s main channel was on 29.6%), ABC 2, 1.20%, (ABC 1, 13.0%), Ten’s ONE with 0.90% (Ten’s main channel, 19.9%), SBS TWO with 0.40%, SBS ONE with 5.0%.

Glenn Dyer’s comments: Seven won, Nine battled well, Ten fell away, although NCIS was popular. With Packed to the Rafters on Seven and solid performances by Seven News and TT, a win for Seven was always going to happen. It was a typical Tuesday night late, very late in the ratings Year (they finish next week).

TONIGHT: Spicks and Specks, the bits left out at 8.30pm. Hungry Beast at 9pm and John Safran at 9.30pm. All have the potential to be at least interesting. Ten has Celebrity MasterChef Australia at 7.30pm. RPA Where Are They on Nine at 8.30pm. City Homicide on Seven in the same slot.
