John Warhurst AO is professor emeritus of political science at the Australian National University. He is a regular columnist with The Canberra Times and the Australian Jesuit online publication Eureka Street. He is the author of The Religious Beliefs of Australia's Prime Minister, covering the period up to Julia Gillard.
