REDGroup’s book store closure in Australia

In 2009, the number of Australian bookstores stood at around 2270. Following the REDgroup administration, and other store openings and closures, we know that this figure is now around the 2000 mark. Some suburbs and towns are now without a dedicated bookstore. Crikey maps the bookstore massacre around the country.
