It was a week of unearthing at Crikey — of injustices exposed and conflicts investigated.

Amber Schultz took an epic dive into the enormously troubled world of the NDIS complaints process, and found a system more damaged than can be believed. Conflict of interest reporter Georgia Wilkins delivered a suite of conflicts covering the east coast all the way to Perth, while journalist Gina Rushton cast an eye over the embattled childcare sector.

Elsewhere, we looked at the crumbling Murdoch empire and called out bad banking practices, while Guy Rundle continued to unpack the implications of Australia in lockdown, divining the strange new world we will soon find ourselves in — and the steps we need to take to avoid catastrophe. His long-form story on the rewriting of the economy is required reading.

Thanks for taking the plunge with us, and enjoy your weekend.
