Where is Anthony Albanese? Haunted by its 2019 election loss, the opposition has been reluctant to put big policies in front of voters – and so far it hasn’t needed to in order to maintain a lead in the polls. But Kishor Napier-Raman warned this week that time is running out for Albanese and Labor to get some precious narrative cut-through.

Meanwhile former NSW premier Gladys Berejiklian fronted up to ICAC again, with Margot Saville reporting on the latest stunning revelations. We also had Crikey legal correspondent Michael Bradley explain what Berejiklian did wrong in the witness box (namely: everything.)

Elsewhere Napier-Raman and Georgia Wilkins rounded out their series on the crisis in Australian universities, Amber Schultz examined the impact Delta had on Australia’s two biggest cities, and Cam Wilson asked the question: what next for Alan Jones?
